Note: There are many websites around that contain some twelve step meeting listings, and many websites that contain information about twelve step organizations, but this website is designed to contain only websites that list meetings, and that are maintained by the organization itself. (Hence the usage of the word "Official".)
Many sites are good, but it is believed that folks should be able to go to one web location for all the meetings in the world for a particular organization. Outdated meeting information can be found all over the web. Attempting to go to a meeting that no longer exists can discourage a newcomer to the point of not trying again. Keeping accurate meeting information is an ongoing issue with twelve step organizations. To help achieve this goal, meeting information should be maintained in one location, or by one organization.
